Pajama Parade

Little did we know that Julia would wear her pj's in public not once but twice this week! On Sunday she had to visit the er/urgent care for what we thought may be bronchitis or asthma again. She wore her pajamas because she had been laying around for two days and just didn't feel good.....or so we thought. On the way out of the hospital she started pleading with us to go to Red Lobster. She was completely sure that popcorn shrimp and cheddar mashed potatoes would make her feel revived. Finally, after ALOT of crying and whining we agreed that if she would eat, we would go. Did she ever eat, and eat, and eat. I think she had 3 biscuits, a salad, mashed potatoes and all of her popcorn shrimp. Boy did she feel better. Then, on Friday morning, I looked at the school calendar for the week and noticed that Friday was supposed to be pajama day for Kindergarten. I set out her pajamas but decided to send an extra set of clothes in case there was any change due to the snow days on Tuesday and Wednesday. I was sure glad that I had packed street clothes as she was the only one in her class wearing pajamas when she got to school. I guess we can chalk this up to yet another thing I have done that she will need a therapist for! LOL!
