While Dad and Julia were at the dance, Jake and I went out. I told him he could pick any place he liked for dinner and he chose Red Robin. He really enjoyed being able to talk to me without any interruptions. After our dinner we headed over to Barnes and Noble to browse. Jake found a couple of books, one of them a kids history book about Ancient Rome. He has been reading it each day and then telling us the "best" facts. To wind up the evening he asked to go to Starbucks for some "joe". A great time was had by all.

Great story but should I worry about a pending caffeine dependency? How late is he staying up to read if this guy needs a cup of Joe to keep going at 10 yrs old?! :)
That's my boy. Nothing like a good bood and a hot cup of joe to finish off the evening.
I need spellcheck. Not sure what a good bood is (ha).
