Yesterday the kids had early dismissal so I surprised them and took them to the park for a picnic. We ate our lunch and then took a walk, picked up leaves and climbed trees. They are anxious to go back to the park to climb trees. Julia said, "mom, I never knew climbing trees could be so much fun." Funny how times change. These kids are creatures of the indoors and when we were young we never wanted to go in.
