2009 Art Fair

Julia's art work was once again entered in the annual art fair by her art teacher. What a delightful surprise to find out she had won a 3rd place medal for the second year in a row. We are so proud of her.

Square Dancing

Every year our school has an open house with a science fair, silent auction, and square dancing for entertainment. The first grade classes strut their stuff and dance until there is a hitch in their giddy up. This night is always a highlight of the school year.

All-District Choir 2009

Jake got to sing in the all-district choir this year. He really enjoyed getting to learn the songs for the concert. By the time the concert got here we could all sing along. :) Jake LOVES to sing! Who knows maybe we will have an American Idol in a few years time.

New Year's Eve Fun

Jake saluting everyone that shot him.
Uncle Tony in his "gear" after a trip to the garage in the dark.

On New Year's Eve we had a number of Nerf gun fights. I only managed to catch a couple of pictures that they didn't jump out of to avoid being hit by darts. It was alot of fun. Hopefully we do it again really soon!
